QuiQue is the artistic alias of Hendrik Jan van Rijswijk, a Dutch
multi-instrumentalist and laptop musician. Born in Cape Town, South
Africa his life journey spans across Rotterdam, Slovakia, Buenos
Aires, and Kraków, shaping his unique musical identity. Music has
been a cornerstone since childhood, inspired by his grandmother, a
piano and vocal teacher. In high school, QuiQue co-founded the
JanSinkeBand with lifelong friends Reinier van Houdt, Martijn van
Hennik and Martijn van Zonneveld, blending improvisation and
experimental sounds. During the pandemic, QuiQue embraced his solo
career, crafting his debut album. His music reflects a dynamic blend
of cultural influences and heartfelt expression, establishing him as
an innovative solo artist.
